SEA Endorses Jackie Cilley for Governor!

At noon on Monday, June 18, 2012, the State Employees’ Association of NH, SEIU Local 1984, announced its endorsement of Jackie Cilley in the race for governor in New Hampshire.

Former Senator Cilley and members of her campaign staff joined SEA members at the SEA office for a news conference that was well attended by the print, electronic and broadcast media.

“Jackie Cilley is a New Hampshire leader who has never forgotten her roots or the values that make life in the Granite State special.  Senator Cilley has a strong record of fighting for the issues most important to working families — good jobs, education, healthcare, safety, the environment and so much more.  She understands how interconnected the success of working families is to the success of our business community, and how these come together to build a better future for our state,” said Diana Lacey, President of the SEA. “Senator Cilley will be a governor who has candid conversations, rolls up her sleeves and brings people together to solve problems in a way that benefits the greatest number of people.  That’s the kind of leadership we need to see in our capitol and across the state!”
