NHRS Offers Information Sessions In Person and Online

The New Hampshire Retirement System is always holding informational sessions for members at locations around the state. Additionally, there are presentations available online. Here is more info on both options:

In-person sessions: The New Hampshire Retirement System has member education sessions scheduled in October, November, and December. To ensure seating availability, registration is required. Group I (Employee and Teacher)

Oct. 17: NH Retirement System Office, Concord, NH, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Oct. 23: Municipal Center, Derry, NH, 4-5 p.m.

Oct. 25: Pease Development Authority, Portsmouth, NH, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Nov. 7: Mascoma Valley Regional High School, Canaan, NH, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Nov. 8: City of Concord Council Chambers, Concord, NH, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Nov. 14: NH Retirement System Office, Concord, NH, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Dec. 12: NH Retirement System Office, Concord, NH, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Group II (Police and Fire)

Nov. 1: City of Concord Council Chambers, Concord, NH, 2-3 p.m.


Online sessions: If you can’t attend one of these sessions but want some updated information, you’re in luck. The NHRS has also updated the Online Presentations section of www.nhrs.org to reflect benefit changes enacted in 2011. The new presentations include information for Group I (Employee and Teacher) and Group II (Police and Fire) members:

  • Vested prior to January 1, 2012.
  • Not vested prior to January 1, 2012, but hired prior to July 1, 2011.
  • Hired on or after July 1, 2011.
