There’s no way to escape from all of the political messages bombarding us right now. Be it TV, radio, print, lawn signs, even the Internet, you just can’t get away from it. Even the President has publicly acknowledged how we must be getting really tired of it. Well, we are. However, the stakes have never been higher, nor the choices as distinct.
We have one presidential candidate who stands with the middle class and believes all Americans should pay their fair share in taxes. The other candidate has said that he does not need to worry about 47% of our population. That’s almost half of us. You might be included in that 47%, did you consider that? What does that mean exactly? How can a President not care about half of his country’s population?
We have a gubernatorial candidate who wants to be Scott Walker on steroids. He has just stated that he sees no reason for equal pay for women. He will abolish the NH Department of Education and wants to completely outsource the NH Department of Transportation. He cozies up to special interest groups. Our other choice is a candidate who believes in working families, education, and traditional New Hampshire values. She respects women and believes they should receive the same wages and benefits as their male counterparts.
Help us get out the vote on the most critical days of November 3, 4, 5, and 6. We will be going door to door speaking with our fellow citizens asking them to get out and vote on November 6. And you can be a part of this effort. There will be 150 shifts to cover over the course of those four days!
