SEA Family Faces Challenge of Missing Son

Jonathan Zygmont, son of Chapter 4 member David Zygmont, has not been seen since Sept. 17 in Portsmouth. David has asked for your assistance to help make sure Jonathan is OK.

One of every parent’s worst fears has come true for one of our union brothers.  Over a week ago, Jonathan Zygmont went missing. Jon is the 19-year-old son of our union brother, David Zygmont, Chapter 4, and he needs our help.

The Zygmont family remains hopeful that Jon is safe and well. Let’s try to help find him. If anyone has any information or has seen Jon or someone who looks like him, please contact his mother, Lynne at 603-401-6874; his sister, Lauren at 603-731-8447; or 800-922-8201.

Jon was last seen the evening of Tuesday, September 17 in Prescott Park, Portsmouth.  He is 5 feet 11 inches and 150 pounds. He had on black shoes, khaki pants and a brown sweatshirt with the word “Burton” on it in red lettering. He was carrying a black North Face backpack.

Jon is a freshman and resident at UNH.  David has provided information about Jon that may be helpful in identifying him on his Facebook account.  For those who do not have a Facebook account, we are posting David’s entries here on our website.

We can help by spreading the word and Jon’s picture to our families, friends, and neighbors – not only here but across the country. Post Jon’s photo on your personal Facebook page and encourage others to do the same.  Print out this flyer and post it in your workplace and community bulletin boards.

“Please keep the thought of Jon on your mind and keep passing along any information you can and thank you all for your efforts, kind words and love,” said David.
