If you have been waiting to share your ideas regarding how your agency could run more efficiently, now’s your chance to be heard.
The Governor’s Commission on Innovation, Efficiency, and Transparency in State Government is seeking input from state employees regarding your ideas and priorities. “We are confident the sessions will allow state employees to have an opportunity to inform our work in a very direct way. We hope you will join the conversation.”
There are two sessions scheduled for A Conversation for State Employees (two dates, same program). The dates and times are Tuesday, June 24th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, June 26 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Both sessions are taking place in Concord at the Grappone Center.
The Governor has authorized that state employees may attend the June 26 session during their work hours without taking leave, with supervisor approval. Employees will not be authorized for comp time, overtime or receive any gas mileage for attending. For employees who cannot attend during the day, they may attend the evening event outside of work hours.
The Governor’s Commission is working with NH Listens out of the Carsey Institute at UNH to host these sessions.
The Governor’s Commission on State Government Innovation, Efficiency and Transparency brings together experts from the private business, nonprofit, higher education and local government sectors to make recommendations for modernizing state government, improving efficiency, measuring the performance of state agencies and improving transparency to citizens.
