New TV Program

“All In To Win For New Hampshire” presented by SEA/SEIU 1984

SEA/SEIU 1984 Communications Director hosts new TV program that highlights public workers and the jobs they perform.

SEA/SEIU1984 has just joined forces with Concord Community TV to produce a new series – All In To Win for New Hampshire.  The program is a talk show format and spotlights SEA/SEIU 1984 members and the important work they do.

For the opening episode, Jim Nall, a psychiatric nurse from Glencliff, explains what a day at Glencliff is like, focusing often on how well the staff work together and how they all try to create a family atmosphere for the residents. Jim is a member of Chapter 9.

Child welfare attorney, Peter Brunette, Chapter 41, shares some of his experiences representing the state in matters related to abused and neglected NH children. He shares that there are two kinds of successes in his work, the success when a child has been placed back in his or her home because the situation that led up to the removal has been remedied, or the other success when a child who cannot be returned to their home is adopted and will have a permanent and loving family.

The show will appear on Concord Community Cable TV station (the schedule is not yet known) or on demand at their website.

Look forward to future episodes – next focus NH DOT.
