The Health Rewards program, available to those covered by the State Employee Health Benefit, will see some changes coming in the new year. If you take part in the program, you’ll want to read carefully.
To begin taking part, you’ll need to log on to Anthem.com to complete the Well-Being Assessment (formerly known as the HAT, or Health Assessment Tool). Once you complete this, you’ll earn $200 that will be placed on your ASIFlex HRA debit card that you can use for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Next, you can complete Health Rewards activities to earn points, which can be exchanged for gift cards. This is a big change from 2015, when completing Health Rewards activities earned you money on the previously mentioned HRA debit card. The other big change is that some of the activities have been replaced. You can find a list of all activities in this flyer produced by the state, or you can read more detail on the state’s website.
