DHHS Has Tips to Avoid Burns, Bug Bites and other Bad Things
As of this week, summer is officially here. That means parties, beach time, yard work and lots of other activities that bring you outside.
In order to make sure you’re able to really enjoy the summer, you’ll want to be aware of any of the health hazards that could befall you when you’re out enjoying the spoils of the season. The state Department of Health and Human Services has put together a handy “Summer Tips” page that pulls together information on topics including:
- EEE and West Nile Virus
- Sun exposure
- Food safety
- Summer alcohol awareness
Don’t let food poisoning or sun poisoning (really, any kind of poisoning) ruin your summer. Have a safer time out there by checking out DHHS’ Summer Tips.
