Sign Up to Canvass Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday
Election Day is just days away (Tuesday, Nov. 8), so this weekend is all about getting out the vote. We need to get people out to vote, because each and every vote will make a difference. The stakes have never been higher for working people, which is why we need to get out in support of our endorsed candidates. We need to elect a slate of candidates who will fight for working people, so that anyone who works hard has the opportunity to succeed and provide for their families.
In these final days, you can make the biggest difference going door to door, having real conversations with people about why this election is so important. You can canvass in locations all across the state. There are shifts available at 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; on Tuesday, shifts are 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
You can find the location closest to you and RSVP by contacting Laurie Gordon at firstname.lastname@example.org or 271-3411, ext. 100.
If you’re unable to do canvassing, we’ll be holding one last phone bank tonight at 5 p.m. at the SEA/SEIU Local 1984 office (207 N. Main St., Concord), calling voters in support of our endorsed candidates. Your local staging location may also be hosting phone banking, so you can contact Laurie Gordon if you’d like to make phone calls locally.
There are just five days to go: Please do what you can to make sure we elect our endorsed candidates and win for working people everywhere!
