Earlier this month, Quest Diagnostics announced that one of its online web applications — MyQuest by Care 360 patient portal — was breached, exposing the health records of 34,000 patients nationwide. That number includes 196 in New Hampshire who are registered MyQuest users.
Quest Diagnostics provides diagnostic testing — things like blood tests, for example — and is typically a preferred provider through programs such as Vitals SmartShopper and Anthem’s Site of Service.
If you were affected by the breach, Quest sent a notice to your home by mail on Dec. 12. If you think you may have been affected but never received a notice from Quest, you can contact the provider at 1-888-320-9970 Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. You can read more about the breach here.
