Member Action Team (MAT)
Become a grassroots political activist

What is MAT?
MAT is a group of trained, active members who serve as grassroots lobbyists, tackling legislative calls to action and acting as a voice for public employees. MAT members lobby legislators on key issues, and recruit their co-workers to do the same.
What does it mean to get involved in MAT?
MAT is a statewide network of political and public policy activists who take action at work and at home. You will be asked to learn about legislative issues, lobby your elected representatives, and talk to your co-workers to get them to do the same. MAT is workplace-centered and action-based. You can be a MAT activist from wherever you work or live.
