STEWARDING BASICS "101
Join Terri as she takes you through the basics of becoming a Worksite Steward.  This training will include:

• Recognizing Worksite Issues
• Organizing 
• Interviewing grievants and witnesses
• Writing a Grievance
• Meeting with Management
• Who to call for help and
• Steward Responsiblities 

All State Stewards interested in attending must register with Terri prior to January 22, 2009.  A letter will be sent on Monday, January 25th informing the State of NH all Stewards attending this training.  In the State contract, Steward receive pay for 3 days of training.  However, we must notify them 21 days in advance.

All County, Municipal, or Private Chapter Stewards may register up until February 12, 2009.  If your contract specifies paid training, please let me know so that I can send a letter to the H.R. person for approval.
