The NH Legislature has increased employees' contribution rate by 2% or more (depending on what retirement group you belong to).

Many SEA members -- especially those in the lower labor grades -- simply cannot afford this pay cut. For families living paycheck-to-paycheck, even a small pay cut can send their finances into an irreversible downward spiral.
